The Wear to go Girls: Cupcakes Couture
One of our favorite places for a sweet treat is Cupcakes Couture, an adorably cute cake salon located in quaint Manhattan Beach, CA.
These are no ordinary cupcakes…these are serious business! Having gluten free options if you are gluten intolerant like Jamie (red velvet is her fave!) but also plenty of other works of art like Mel’s favorite, Strawberry Shortcake!
The atmosphere is so whimsy and fun it makes you just want to hang out, eat cupcakes and chat. This is the perfect place to go if you need to brighten up your week!

Not limited to cupcakes, they make french macaroons, cake pops, cookies and various coffee beverages. They even did Jamie’s birthday cake! (Gluten free red velvet duh!) Of course we wouldn’t be us if we didn’t wash it down with a yummy iced cappucino!
To go on our excursion we decided to dress the part incorporating very girly, feminine pieces into our looks. Sometimes its nice to dress up just for the heck of it and since Jamie was having a tough week, we decided to just go for it and have some fun!
Mel chose this shimmery gold skirt by Aqua and paired it with a top from H&M, patent nude pumps by Glaze and a flower applique clutch. Tres Chic!
Jamie opted to for a pop of color and statement jewels with these teal heels and a pile of pearl necklaces. Feminine Fun!
